League Announcements

Winter Meeting for the Southern Plains Football League Scheduled

The Southern Plains Football League has scheduled a winter meeting for all returning and all interested teams on February 2 at South Park Lanes and Lounge in Owatonna Minnesota. Those teams interestd in attending please R.S.V.P. the league at spfl2003@yahoo.com or Dan Sturges at dansturges@hotmail.com.

Why Have a League Web Site?

The reason that this site exists is two fold. First of all, though regular upkeep of this site we will hopefully increase the communication throughout the league making things run much more smoothly for the Commisioner's Office, the teams involved, and the league in general. Please check back frequently for new "League Announcements."

This site exists so that semi-pro players, coaches, teams, and the Southern Plains Football League can be recognized for their accomplishments. Their are only so many things that I can put on this web-site. I need your help running this site. More specifically, I need information. Any information that can be given to me can help promote the league. This may come in form of pictures, stats, game summaries, or anything else that promotes your team. Any other ideas are always welcome. If you have any info or ideas drop me a line at spfl2003@yahoo.com.

A Short Note About the League Meeting

Thank you for all of those that attended. The meeting went well. We have a number of new ideas to put to vote for next meeting and look forward to seeing you there. This league is beginning to expand by leaps and bounds. It is up to you, the teams, to help keep building on this great foundation that has been laid out. The next league meeting should take place somtime in January. When the date and time is official it will be posted on the this site ASAP. Stay tuned for further information.
